It is our mission to assist and educate people, not only of the importance of emergency food storage
, but how to go about it in a healthy way. As a part of this mission we wish to promote environmental awareness and understanding of the benefits of sustainable farming. Farming standards that use safe, quality, organic methods which help protect our food and environment from toxic chemicals and genetically altered crops which destroy our land for future cultivation.
Knowing where our food comes from is an essential part of improving our health. A nourishing food storage program will pay off now as well as at a future time if it becomes necessary for your family’s survival.
Ultimately, we would like to see families and communities around the world learn how to become self-sustaining so that emergencies and disasters will not throw anyone into the position of being hungry or having to beg for food, whether it is now or during an emergency.

How do we keep our children from falling into the trap of eating toxic highly processed foods when they are so common on our grocery store shelves and in fast food restaurants? That is the question I asked myself over 30 years ago when my children were young. (And we didn’t have nearly the number of chemicals in our foods and evironment as we do now.)
I was determined then to make sure that didn’t happen to my family, and thus began researching nutrition in an effort to find replacements for those “oh so popular” foods so common for the time. As a result, I created a baking mix that utilized whole wheat flour, fruits, vegetables and honey, to make many wholesome delights, including pancakes, muffins, breads, cookies, and main dishes, and was able to supplement our diet with these nourishing foods. (I have to hand it to my kids for being such brave testers, since some of my “experiments” turned out to be flops!) However, in time I was able to come up with some great recipes my kids loved and all my hard efforts eventually paid off and culminated in my own healthy baking mix cookbook, Honey Harvest Quickmix, that was published in 1992.
At the same time, I was also attempting to keep an up to date, nourishing food storage program that addressed the above concerns. It has been a challenge through the years, as so many “storage” type foods are loaded with pesticides and toxins, and you have to really be on your toes if you want to get safe food. We also need to be eating these chemical-free organic foods now, so that we can be at the most optimal state of health.
I spent over two years working on the two books offered on this website, and included many years of personal experience. They offer loads of important information about your health, food, chemicals, and how to put all the information together into a nutritious food storage pantry. This set is the first of its kind on the market, and I hope you will find they will meet your expectations and more!
Happy, Healthy Eating and Storing!
